Why a ReBoot!

One of the questions I have been asked, since most of the comments I hear, “Your not overweight”, “Your not sick..are you?”, is why a Juice Fast. Well my friend here is the simple reason.
I do not want to be overweight, or sick. After watching a documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpLQwWKb3l8, there was a section at the beginning of the movie that has 4 or 5 people saying they would plan on living to late 40′s early 50′s. Pretty bleak out look I’d say, and since I’m 51, I feel like a target. Now what could I do after watching the documentary? Fix my diet, change my destructive eating habits, and start juicing. My day is pretty hectic and I don’t get the opportunity to carry around a lot of food. Plus I have only ever eaten one meal a day. Drank a ton of coffee and soft drinks. My diet, albeit not bad, was not that good. I’m a chef and through my training, it was all about great taste, butter makes it better and salt is the ultimate seasoning. Now that I know more, here’s my thought. Great taste can be accomplished with natures natural flavours. Sodium is in everything, so no need to add more. Fat dulls the tastebuds, lose the fat and wake them up with juices. If your drinking micronutrients, then eating them, you start to feel better, even great. Watch the Documentary and Juice On!
